The games are the same on both devices; what changes is ergonomics. On iPad, targets are physically larger, which suits the youngest players — if you have both devices, hand a two-year-old the tablet. On iPhone, games work great for preschoolers and on-the-go moments; every control in our catalog stays big enough for small fingers even on a phone screen.
All titles below are free to download from the App Store, keep purchases behind a parental gate, and ship in the App Store Kids category. The full compatibility table lists every game with its age fit and a direct App Store link.
On a shared family iPhone or iPad, we recommend enabling Guided Access (Settings → Accessibility) for solo sessions — it keeps a child inside one app. Purchases in our games always sit behind a parental gate.
The games target the iOS versions listed on each App Store page; check the “Compatibility” row there for your exact device and iOS version.
It is one app per game: the same download adapts its layout to the screen. You pay nothing extra to use a game on both devices with the same Apple ID.
Start from games for 2-year-olds — single-tap games shine on the big screen. The table above shows each game’s age fit.
Most of them — see the Android games page for the Google Play catalog.
Also useful: offline games that work without Wi-Fi (that is all of them) and the Android version of this page.
